The agreement

By creating an account or using Unbroken you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. The app and keepunbroken.com are run by Unbroken. If you don't agree, please don't use Unbroken.

Who can use Unbroken

You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age in your country). If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

Your account

Give accurate information, keep your sign-in safe and don't share your account. You are responsible for what happens in it. One account per person.

How Unbroken works

A chain is a daily commitment. Each member sends a snap every day before the chain's deadline in their own timezone. Missing a day breaks your chain; a streak save can bring you back if you have one. Deadlines, streaks and saves are decided by our servers, and their records are final — except when they are clearly caused by an error on our side, which we'll correct when you tell us.

Your content

You keep the rights to the photos and text you share. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy (for example as thumbnails) and show them to the people who can see the chain or your profile, only to run Unbroken. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups and archives described in the Privacy Policy, and content others already saved or shared.

Only share photos you have the right to share. If other people are recognisable in your snap, make sure they are fine with it.

Community rules

Unbroken has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Do not post or send:

• nudity, sexual content, or anything that sexualises minors;
• violence, threats, self-harm encouragement or dangerous challenges;
• harassment, bullying, hate speech or discrimination;
• other people's private information, or content that impersonates someone;
• spam, scams, illegal content or anything that infringes someone else's rights.

Report a snap with the flag in the snap viewer, or a person from their profile (••• → Report user), or e-mail [email protected]. You can also block anyone (••• → Block user): they can no longer follow, invite, react to or nudge you and their snaps are hidden from you. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or delete the accounts behind it.

Money bets and penalties

Chains can carry a bet, a money pool or a penalty that friends agree on. These are an honour system between you and your friends: Unbroken does not hold, transfer, pay out or guarantee any money, and is not a party to the deal. We are not responsible for whether or how it is settled. Don't use Unbroken for gambling or anything illegal where you live.

Unbroken Pro

Unbroken is free to use with limits. Unbroken Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly — the options and prices are shown in the app before you buy):

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your Unbroken account doesn't cancel it.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

We may change what the free plan and Pro include; changes to a paid subscription apply from the next period, and we tell you in advance.

Changes and availability

We keep improving Unbroken and may add, change or remove features. We try to keep it running all the time but can't promise it will never be interrupted.

Ending the agreement

You can stop any time and delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, or put other users at risk.

Disclaimers and liability

Unbroken is a motivation tool, not medical, fitness or financial advice — check with a professional before starting a new routine that could affect your health. The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost streaks, or disputes between users, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law.

Apple App Store terms

If you got Unbroken from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you can notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for handling claims about the app (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property claims). You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. government embargo and not on a U.S. government list of prohibited parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in and can bring a claim before your local courts or consumer authorities.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date above; for important changes we tell you in the app before they apply. Using Unbroken after that means you accept them.
